I am a singer/songwriter and sound engineer/producer who dabbles a bit with video. I am interested in helping develop some kind of 'model' to ensure that independent musicians and film makers receive some sort of financial reward for all the material they create and share on the Internet. I ask all listeners to think about donating to those artists that you like and listen to often. This will help them to continue creating and developing new projects. This then makes YOU a part of the project!

Hello David, just a quick message to let you know I've added your new `POP` player for you.

It's really flexible this new player, and it works on many other sites that allow such things

Hope you're okay my friend - been really busy this side, so I'm looking forward to your updates & future ideas

Best regards,

Chris.

Thanks David for your comments ... I've got so much footage that a complete film will be just too big for Net use, so I'm making a number of `Clips` type films ...

Here's one example (please watch in HD)

Hi Chris, simply put its awesome. A real feeling of 'being there'. I love the JVC for that, very natural. The dhow footage where you are chasing the boat as it starts to be backed by the sunset is a great section. I would love to see more of the footage you got on your journey. Things here are getting back to normal slowly. I just finished a video job for my friend Kathy Possum a childrens entertainer. Check it out on the HD7 group, 2 camera shoot with the HD7 and the new Panasonic [I decided on getting it] Love to hear your thoughts mate. I will be more active again soon.

Hi David

I have so much footage from my trip to Egypt I think I could make at least 5 or 6 short films. If you check my Blog here you'll find one film I made on my way back down the Nile after hours of exploring the West Bank and seeing a remote Arab village (future film)

This film is nothing more than chasing a sunset down the Nile on a boat in low light using the HD7. If you get time to view I'd love to hear your comments,

Best regards, Chris.

Hello David, great to see you as always!

I'm editing some of the footage from Egypt at present - its so contrasting that I might have to make a few films, we'll see

Thrilled to hear your dear Son is on the mend - I see you've sent me a video - its a large file so I'll download tonight when I have more time.

BTW ... YouTube's HD video service is better than Vimeo - I loaded a few of my films and as long as you click the `HD` button on the player the image quality is impressive.

Found it! Great piece. We musicians and artists are blessed in that we can 'talk' with our works. Beautiful.

Micheal will live on in this world, his music will be played as a part of history. Travel safely onwards brother bard.

Hey Thank You David :-) I have not done anything with Music for almost a year and a half but when I heard the News of Michael's passing I was drivin to say something with Music. I do appreciate your comment very much. Coming from you I feel good about my effort. Maybe now I can continue on with more work down the road :-)

I for some reason lost the desire and focused on other interests in My Life.

Anyway ..... thanks again my friend Hope you are doing well...... all the Best!
