It's been a while since I've logged in here and I must say, it looks so much better with the improvements. Great job, guys!

As we all know, music sales have taken a tremendous slump of late, that even fairly well known artists are working much harder to promote their works. I have gotten into the independent music business a bit late, although my first two years were splendid. But alas, everything must change. I have elected to release digital mp3 albums because they obviously cover a broader distribution network and cost less in manufacturing. Adjustments, adjustments. Ho-hum.

Those of you who are familiar with my works, and find my pieces interesting to some degree may want to check out my upcoming release, "Beyond". I won't dare say that is the 'greatest' ambient music out there, I'll just let the listener interpret the work for themselves, as most music is felt in different ways by different folks. I will say that it is some of the 'best' work I've done from a personal standpoint in quite some time, and I hope that it connects with lots of folks.

I really like this site (got to get back here more often), and I really have been busy of late. I usually have someone fill out these blogs for me, but I just had to see the 'new look' here.

So long for now,

Ken Myers

Great to see you again Ken, and many thanks for adding your thoughts.

Digital Downloads seem to becoming very popular - for one its so easy, but like any form of sales, `promotion` is key, and its a tough cookie to crack with so many trying to get their slice of the market or cake as some would put it.

Your main site here at `POP` offers Digital Downloads free with PayPal options - technically you can run a shop.

Being active here, or better still `interactive` does increase traffic from visitors, and oddly from none members.

They like to follow what's going on, and love reading comments, reviews, and forum posts as well as listening to music without ever becoming a member (as such)

I've always said "musicians are the worst people to sell music too" though of course not impossible, but its our visitors, fans, followers etc, these are the people that buy our music.

A little insight there maybe

Anyway Ken, love your musical creations, and I'm sure many others do too - hope we see more of you
