The first pilot show was just learning the art of 'How to put a show together'...It takes hours of recording vocals and mixing work...Which all I can say is...Admin is bloody brill at it and getting better all the time...
We felt that the ordinary shoutcast player when it selects anything and everything from the POP catalogue was very hit and miss, also the fact you can hear the song, But then no Info comes up about the artist was a real problem...So we had to find a way to bring Good, well produced songs from every genre & feature these to make POP sound as full of talented musicians as possible (Which it is..!)...But within this concept we also wanted to add a personal touch to this...So 'The Chris and Lisa radio Show' was born... The first was only rough as we were both very unsure how it would be taken...It's a Load of hard work to be put up and then nobody bothering to listen, So it was a test really...! The 'Sheila'/Skippy bits were born from the mad mistress of POP.... You need a bit of madness in this world... So we wanted to keep in the madness to a point..... But with a lot more 'music' into the bargain....And some background info into each artist....! <o:p></o:p>
But the most important bit and funnily enough the most commented thing is how everyone feels like they are with us...Almost as if we are actually with them in their homes....<o:p></o:p>
We want and need POP to be a interactive and friendly site attracting more musicians and music appreciators as these are the people that count... And this is how POP will keep going...But, this can only happen when everyone gets involved....! It's how we get involved that makes this site different.....! It's a struggle to keep one step ahead of the competition..! But we are coming up with lots of good ideas to make the site the artists 'home' and listener friendly...<o:p></o:p>
Anyone that wants to put together a good recorded show to feature anything that brings that bit of interaction...Please, please do.....! The more artist getting involved the better the radio will be....!<o:p></o:p>
And we feel last nights show sounds a lot more professional than the pilot...But you'll never believe it...
It was recorded with no scripts...This was just 'us'..! We worked from one list with some artists/songs that had been jotted down and pressed 'record'... How mad was that...But it took us about 4 hours last night in total from - The recording of our voices, mixing and mastering...Add the musical tracks and upload it all onto shoutcast in time for New years day..... We didn't even have time to proof it first....!

WELL DONE 'ADMIN'..... YOU'RE SO TALENTED IN EVERYTHING YOU DO.....! <o:p></o:p>
And it was a rush job... all because Lisa/ Sheila/ Skippy / Crystal Balls / The Queen and all had lost there voices... It was an epidemic...LMAO....

Another great work from you two and yes, I know just how much time this must have taken to do. It is a really good approach for the show to sound like its coming from a lounge-room in England rather than the 'FM Radio' close miked, 'voice over' style. It works really well for this intimate 'family' type of presentation. It really is easy to feel at home with Chris and Lisa. The boys from Returning Juvenile were absolutely blown away that you played their song to the world on a real radio show!! I also appreciate very much the songs of mine that you have featured....thank you deeply.
Keep up the shows guys. Chris if you want to use the Acoustic Shows just go ahead and grab them. I am thinking about doing another few shows very soon. I would like to feature music from non members too....is that OK? PM me with any rules or layouts if you would.

Thank you David for your overall support with our first efforts at creating Radio shows featuring the wealth of amazing talent here at POP
We're starting to get the feel as well as production sounding right, and there's a hell of a lot more we could do, and will do over the year to make these shows more interesting - we like having fun lol.
In regards to your shows, of course David, you go ahead and create what you want - you have high standards of production & music to offer, and `POP` is in support of this all the way!
Twist tells me possible `Wild Man` shows could return too, awesome!
If any other members would like to create shows or would like to add short 10 - 15 min slots to already running shows, just let me know, the more interaction we have the better.
Anyway, more shows are coming guys so listen out for YOUR music as all members will be featured over time.

I like your idea, and it might be possible in some way, though our shows are part of the ShoutCast Radio community and work a little like DAB Radio, so info is possible if nothing else.
In the UK, Internet Radios (the hardware) are as popular as DAB radios (we have one) ... we type the radio address in and it tunes in just like any other radio. Our address at the moment is http://70.38.66.1:8688/listen.pls
I've been listening to our shows on the bedroom Radio ... and you guys sound great!

I really enjoy the calm mood you create whilst talking. Not that "rushy" DJ talking. Then you serve lots of great music as well of course 
have some problem to understand all you say tho´.....for some reason it´s easier, for me, to understand US people the UK......no offence
