Thank you Tony! You really did study it! LOL!! Sometimes in a live recording you get a little caught up in the excitement of it. I believe the song speeds up 1-bpm in a spot or two but returns quickly, nice catch. You have to make a call, chance loosing the passion of the take or leave it. I tried a few retakes and overdubs and chose the passion of the moment. Peace, Maz
This is everything that's cool about the music scene, and
it realy does not matter what genre you follow either.
I have listened to this countless times now, and I know this track very well indeed.
A man should always treat a woman with respect and with oven gloves on, but this track certainly rocks as it swings. The Hammond (excellent work William) and lead guitar are showcase piece's that compliment the vocals in equal quantaties.
Overall the arrangment in this, is as solid as rock, which is under-pinned by the punchy percussion and rawnchy vocals.
What realy sells this though is that its a live recording. Because of this there is a lot of nervous energy that comes out in the music which makes it more apealing.
There are a couple of hickups with the tempo, but this only adds charactor to this way down dirty piece of
Not to keep silent any longer, I had a great time of it.
Sometimes, after working on either complicated arrangements, or sonic-blast-synth stuff, it's very refreshing to be able to just ROCK-OUT !!! That's when I find myself dancing (OK...shaking the lower section) as I'm jammimg out. And yes.....I was caught by my wife....."movin to the groove", she thought it was cute. This tune in particular, had that Allmond Bro's feeling to it, and I like the Brothers, alot.
In working with Tony and the group, I enjoyed the full band sound and structure, and.....drums !! I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Hi Mo, Thanks for listening! As for William liking working with us or not, your going to have to ask him. I can tell you I did enjoy working with him. He is a true talented musician and a gentleman to boot! Peace, Tony
