Well we have to say the production is second to none, Chris is a superb sound engineer, wish we could get the same type of production. Our first thoughts were not enough reverb but after a couple of listens we can see why you made this choice and it does really work for this song and the love is there in your sweet voice for sure.We feel the same about our vocals that's why we always have to have reverb. You guys make a great team, we hope to hear more soon.

Hey Lisa,
Well, some people have suggested I like to much reverb on vocals and that is probably true. I think whatever you get used to eventually becomes "standard" for your ear.

In love huh? Who's the lucky man inspiring that voice of yours?

Hello Dave...Thank You for commenting on my latest upload!Chris certainly knows how to build a number, And keeps you in suspense right to the end of the track...!! Just wanted to add to your comment...! It was our choice to leave the Vocals as clean and untouched as possible...To add to the emotion of the song...We did try a couple of takes using reverb...But mutually voted for the most 'natural' version...It seemed to express the song in a much more empathetic way... In fact, normally I'd be so embarrassed to have a 'naked vocal'...But this just seemed to work..! Its hard for people to listen to a real natural vocals these days as there are so many songs/ vocalists that go for an OTT produced sound..I just wanted to offer a gentle alternative with this number,..Not saying I won't try a new approach..One day soon..!..But I take on-board all your comments and Thank you for taking the time to express them..! And finally being IN-LOVE helps to bring out the varied emotion for singers I have found...But, Thats just 'ME' ;-)...Take Care my friend! Love Lisaj

Hey Lisa,
Your voice is quite beautiful as always. I am always amazed how true singers such as you can put so much varied emotion in your singing.
Chris certainly knows how to make those instruments jump out of the speakers. The build of instrumentation keeps the song very interesting as well.
I do have one thing I might change. The vocals don't seem to stand out in the mix as much as I would like. I would also have chosen a little convolution reverb for the vocals in the "dry" sections, but some say I overdue reverb so I don't really know. Just want to hear more of you Smile

fine work with a fantastic engineer and musician.
