Hi all,
I know that I have not been around here for a month or so, I have some serious personal issues that have been troubling me and my family. I shouldnt count the cost in terms of money but jeez, its killing me. I am just glad that my family are safe and well. Things have settled down slightly. During my time away I have been working on this, my new track, a lot of my feelings have come out in this especially with the beats and bass, but underneath it all there is the feeling of hope and this what is making life worth living.

Hi Rob,
thx for taking the time to listen to "Close to me". Your right its is a very intimate track, and your bang on when you say that my keys are beats are straight forward which they are. I believe that making your music simple is the key to a crisp mix. Yet again your also bang on when you say a little sad, they reflect whats been happening in my life at the moment, but as you say after fivemins or so it lifts the atmosphere. Its here where "hope" makes it entrance and takes center stage.
I have re-adjusted it slightly as the wind sounds were a out and I have evened up the balance on the deep kick as these were bugging me.

Hey there, Tony,
Your tune was my "soundtrack" for yesterday. Gave it a good listen on endless loop while convalescing. This is a very intimate tune. Your beats and keys are straightforward, if not a little sad, then 5 minutes later, your atmospheric sounds came at me like an ocean wave. Very surprising and beautiful. Like the sun shining through a break in the clouds on a stormy afternoon.
